Lucid Group IncClass action lawsuit alleging false statements about manufacturing and delivery capabilities, leading to stock drop and capital raise.

Pomerantz LLP has filed a class action lawsuit against Lucid Group, Inc. and certain officers on behalf of investors who purchased Lucid securities between February 25, 2026 and April 13, 2026. The suit, filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges that Lucid made materially false and misleading statements about its manufacturing and delivery capabilities, particularly regarding the Lucid Gravity SUV. The complaint claims that a supplier quality issue significantly disrupted deliveries in February 2026, causing Lucid to report first-quarter 2026 deliveries of only 3,093 vehicles against production of 5,500, and preliminary revenue of $280 million to $284 million, well below the consensus estimate of $433.8 million. Following these disclosures, Lucid's stock price fell over 11% in two trading sessions and continued to decline after the company announced a $1.05 billion capital raise and reported a net loss of over $1 billion for the quarter. Investors have until July 28, 2026 to seek appointment as lead plaintiff.
