PTT Public Company LimitedPTT targets expanding its LNG trading volumes from 3-4 Mtpa to 10 Mtpa by 2030 and 15 Mtpa by 2035, adding new supply sourcing and sale agreements.

PTT has set a goal of expanding LNG volumes in its trading business from the current 3-4 million tonnes per year to 10 million tonnes by 2030 and 15 million tonnes by 2035, in order to strengthen its LNG portfolio and capture global growth opportunities. Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited, said at Gastech 2026 that natural gas and LNG will continue to play a key role in the global energy system during the energy transition, remaining the world's primary fuel for the next 20-30 years. The portfolio expansion will cover sourcing new LNG supply, signing purchase and sale agreements, and building partnerships with energy companies and energy traders worldwide. For Thailand, natural gas is currently sourced roughly 50% from the Gulf of Thailand, about 10% is imported from Myanmar, and about 30% is imported as LNG. PTT continues to adhere to the Energy Trilemma principle of energy security, affordability, and sustainability, while advancing carbon capture and storage technology and reducing carbon across its entire value chain.
