Sinocelltech Group LtdSCTB10 injection receives clinical trial approval for hemophilia A, a positive development for the company's pipeline.

Sinocelltech's controlling subsidiary, Sinocelltech Engineering, has received a drug clinical trial approval notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration, approving the SCTB10 injection to begin clinical trials for hemophilia A. SCTB10 is a recombinant anti-FIXa/FX bispecific antibody injection independently developed by the company. It works by binding activated FIXa and FX to mimic the procoagulant function of coagulation factor VIII, replacing the missing factor VIII to restore coagulation function. The optimized SCTB10 is expected to replace traditional intravenous infusion with subcutaneous injection, significantly reducing dosing frequency and achieving better prophylactic treatment outcomes. This clinical trial will evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy of SCTB10 in patients with hemophilia A.
