Tesla IncExpected 11% sequential delivery increase driven by strong European demand, with EU registrations more than doubling year-over-year in May.

Tesla is expected to report 397,000 vehicle deliveries for the second quarter, according to Bloomberg consensus, representing an 11% increase from the first quarter but only 3% growth from a year ago. The company's own sell-side consensus, posted on its investor-relations site, points to 406,024 deliveries with a median estimate near 408,600. European registrations surged, with May figures more than doubling year-over-year in the EU, while US sales are projected to drop 20% due to the expiration of federal EV tax credits. Deutsche Bank analyst Edison Yu noted that international strength is driving the quarter, with Europe expected to post nearly 40% year-over-year growth, China up 3%, and North America down 21%. Tesla's energy deployments are also in focus, with the company's consensus estimate at 13.8 gigawatt-hours, up over 50% from the first quarter.
