CLP Holdings Limited is an investment holding company involved in the generation, retail, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Hong Kong, Mainland China, India, Thailand, Taiwan, and Australia. It generates electricity from coal, gas, nuclear, and renewable sources such as wind, hydro, and solar. The company also provides pumped storage services, energy and infrastructure solutions, and property investment activities, as well as retail of electricity and gas. Founded in 1901, it is headquartered in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
