Its offerings include engineering solutions for mining and metal processing such as stockyard, pelletizing, and sintering; low-carbon metallurgy solutions covering coke making, blast furnace, direct reduction, steelmaking, continuous casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, and industrial furnace; and integrated services such as consulting and planning, and equipment and spare parts. It also provides consulting and EPC services for smart safety and occupational health, energy generation, energy efficiency, air pollution control, and other fields. Formerly known as Sinosteel Jilin Carbon Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Sinosteel Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd. in September 2014, was founded in 1972, is based in Beijing, China, and operates as a subsidiary of Sinosteel Corporation.
