Zhongtong Bus released its 2026 half-year report, with first-half net profit attributable to the parent at 283 million yuan, up 48.5% year on year. Operating revenue was 4.014 billion yuan, up 1.8% year on year. Net profit attributable to the parent after deducting non-recurring items was 203 million yuan, up 15.9% year on year. Net operating cash flow was 1.548 billion yuan, up 1,800.9% year on year. Earnings per share were 0.484 yuan. In the second quarter, operating revenue was 2.23 billion yuan, down 0.7% year on year, while net profit attributable to the parent was 183 million yuan, up 60.9% year on year. As of the end of the second quarter, total assets were 10.124 billion yuan, up 2.5% from the end of the previous year, and net assets attributable to the parent were 3.378 billion yuan, up 7.6% from the end of the previous year. During the reporting period, the company sold a total of 7,600 buses, up 30.16% year on year. Supported by subsidy policies for new energy buses and power battery replacements, the public bus segment achieved growth, while the tourist bus market underwent adjustment, with demand shifting toward high-end and customized products.

Zhongtong Bus disclosed its July 2026 production and sales data report, with monthly sales of 1,138 units. By vehicle type, large vehicles sold 465 units in July, medium vehicles sold 609 units, and light and logistics vehicles sold 64 units. On a cumulative basis, the company sold 8,738 units in the first seven months, up 27.52% from 6,852 units in the same period last year. Among them, cumulative sales of large vehicles reached 5,417 units, up 25.68% year-on-year; medium vehicles sold 2,934 units, up 36.27%; and light and logistics vehicles sold 387 units.

Zhongtong Bus disclosed its earnings forecast, projecting net profit attributable to the parent for the first half of 2026 at 260 million yuan to 310 million yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 36.56% to 62.82%. Deducted non-recurring net profit is expected to be 193 million yuan to 230 million yuan, up 9.97% to 31.06% year-on-year. Basic earnings per share are estimated at 0.45 yuan to 0.53 yuan. The company stated that the profit growth is mainly driven by a significant increase in delivery volumes for both domestic and overseas orders, as well as measures such as sales mix adjustments, product upgrades, and cost reduction and efficiency improvements, which have enhanced profitability. In addition, the impact of certain land reserves on net profit amounts to approximately 56.82 million yuan.
