Guilin Tourism's first-half operating profit rises 27% year on year

Guilin Tourism released its 2026 semi-annual results report. In the first half of the year, it achieved operating revenue of 201 million yuan, up 2.17% year on year, and operating profit of 9.58 million yuan, up 27% year on year. Net profit attributable to the parent after deducting non-recurring items narrowed its loss by 5.15 million yuan compared with the same period last year. Through measures such as holiday marketing, product upgrades and cost control, the company achieved positive revenue growth despite pressure on visitor numbers, and its main business losses narrowed significantly. The company also accelerated the resolution of legacy issues. The litigation-related equity of Guizhen Company completed judicial transfer, a settlement agreement was signed with Guangxi No.4 Construction granting partial debt relief, and some expenses of Longsheng Hot Spring Company were reduced or waived. The company owns scarce cultural and tourism resources such as Two Rivers and Four Lakes and Yinziyan, and is promoting the integration of new tourism-plus business models, such as the Yinziyan 3D light and shadow renovation and AI tour companion products. At the policy level, Guilin has been designated a key tourism city, and inbound tourism growth is expected to bring benefits.
