Kumho Electric, Inc. manufactures and sells lighting equipment in South Korea and internationally, along with its subsidiaries. Its product range includes general lighting such as compact, krypton, and circular lamps, fluorescent linear tubes, smart lighting systems, and procurement lights. The company also offers LED products including ceiling lights, flush mounts, LED bulbs, PAR30, LED FPL, LED tubes, and T5 lightings, as well as industrial lighting such as parking lot lights, flat panel lights, downlights, flood lights, streetlights, and explosion proof lights. Formerly known as Chungyup Manufacturing Co., it changed its name to Kumho Electric, Inc. in February 1978. Founded in 1935, the company is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
