Haid Group's first-half revenue rises but profit falls, with net profit attributable to shareholders down nearly 40% year on year

Haid Group disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report. In the first half, it achieved operating revenue of 64.24 billion yuan, up 9.19% year on year, but net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 1.611 billion yuan, down 38.95% year on year. Net profit after deducting non-recurring items was 1.306 billion yuan, down 50.81% year on year. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of 1.50 yuan per 10 shares, including tax, to all shareholders, with an estimated total cash payout of about 248 million yuan. The decline in performance was mainly affected by both record-high fishmeal raw material prices and persistently sluggish hog market conditions. The feed business, which accounts for more than 80% of revenue, had a gross margin of 9.76%, down 0.28 percentage points year on year, while the farming business gross margin fell from 20.26% in the same period last year to 6.41%. However, the company's main business sales volume still maintained growth. In the first half, external feed sales volume was 14.78 million tonnes, up about 8% year on year. Of this, external sales of aquatic feed were 3.4 million tonnes, up about 21% year on year, and external sales of pig feed were 3.91 million tonnes, up about 15% year on year. Feed sales volume in overseas regions grew by more than 25%. The company's investment income in the first half was 361 million yuan, up 300.67% year on year, mainly due to increased profits from futures business.
