Alm. Brand Group issues pre-silent newsletter ahead of Q2 2026 results

Alm. Brand Group has released a pre-silent newsletter ahead of its second-quarter 2026 results, which will be published on 16 July 2026. The newsletter highlights that premiums are well-diversified between Personal and Commercial Lines, with each segment contributing approximately 50% of premiums. In the first quarter of 2026, insurance revenue rose 2.5% year-on-year, driven by a 6.4% increase in Personal Lines, while Commercial Lines premiums fell 1.8% due to a focus on profitability and a soft workers’ compensation market. The company expects annual major claims to be around 6% of premium income, with weather-related claims at 3–4% annually, and notes that the guidance for the insurance service result was lowered by DKK 0.7 billion due to a one-off charge from a workers’ compensation ruling, to be recognised as a run-off loss in the second quarter. The investment portfolio of approximately DKK 20 billion remains well-diversified and low-risk, mainly in Danish mortgage bonds, and the company also provided updates on a share capital reduction of DKK 48 million, a tender offer for Tier 2 capital notes, and a DKK 1.0 billion share buyback programme.
