Samyang Corporation manufactures and sells sugar and engineering plastics in Korea, China, Japan, other Asian countries, Europe, and internationally. It operates through three segments: Food, Chemicals, and Others. The company supplies engineering plastics such as PC, PBT, TPEE, and M-PET, as well as compound products for the automotive, electrical and electronic, medical, and security industries, and produces ion exchange resin for food, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and catalysts. It also provides food ingredients including sugar, starch, starch sweeteners, wheat flour and premix, and oils and fats, along with specialty ingredients such as allulose, nondigestible maltodextrin, oligosaccharides, sugar alcohols, flavoring, and imported products. Founded in 1924 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Samyang Corporation is a subsidiary of Samyang Holdings Corporation.
