Trump Mobile T1 Phone Falls Short of Original Promises

The Trump Mobile T1 smartphone, now available for $499, is a repurposed version of HTC's two-year-old U24 Pro rather than the made-in-America device originally pitched. The handset runs Android 15 with minimal customization, features a 6.78-inch OLED display, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, 512 gigabytes of storage, and 12 gigabytes of memory, but its camera performance is weak and long-term software support is uncertain. Trump Mobile operates as an MVNO on T-Mobile's network with a $47.45 monthly plan, which is less competitive than offerings from Visible, Google Fi, and others. The company has no direct affiliation with the Trump Organization, and there is little evidence the phone is shipping in significant volume.
