Tsuburaya Fields Holdings Hits Limit-Up on Upward Revision

In the morning session of July 28, Tsuburaya Fields Holdings hit its daily limit-up on a bid-only basis. The previous day, the company announced its first-quarter results and upwardly revised its full-year consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027, as well as the projected figures in its group medium-term management plan, which was taken as a positive surprise. Meanwhile, Koei Tecmo Holdings fell back. Although its first-quarter operating profit surged 51% to 5.4 billion yen, it came in below market expectations, leading to profit-taking. Of the 99 registered gaming and entertainment stocks, 43 rose and 50 fell, with sellers holding a slight edge.
