Zhendong Pharmaceutical posts first-half loss of 92.73 million yuan, swinging from profit to loss year-on-year
Zhendong Pharmaceutical released its 2026 interim report, showing first-half operating revenue of 1.097 billion yuan, down 24.7 percent year-on-year, and a loss of 92.73 million yuan, swinging from profit to loss compared with the same period last year. Second-quarter operating revenue was 447 million yuan, down 36.3 percent year-on-year, with a net loss attributable to the parent company of 91.68 million yuan. The company said the continued rollout of centralized volume-based procurement and medical insurance cost-control policies in the pharmaceutical industry has put pressure on sales volumes and prices of some core products, while it has proactively scaled back certain long-loss-making, non-core, low-efficiency businesses, which had a short-term impact on operating revenue.
