TSI Expands VelociCalc 9600 and Airflow TA500 Ventilation Meter Capabilities
TSI Incorporated has expanded the capabilities of its VelociCalc 9600 Series and Airflow TA500 multi-function ventilation meters. The portable handheld instruments now support four additional plug-in probes that measure low-concentration VOC and temperature, high-concentration VOC and temperature, CO2, and humidity. The VelociCalc 9650 and Airflow TA550 models also gain compatibility with the Positive and Negative Duct Accreditation Systems, models PAN231 and PAN341. The meters feature built-in guided workflows for tasks such as calculating the percentage of outside air, and the VelociCalc 9650 adds workflows for heat flow calculations and four duct traverse methodologies. Designed for demanding job sites, the instruments include ergonomic housings with integrated magnets and onboard barometric pressure sensors for air density compensation.
