Nihon Falcom Q3 operating profit surges 485%, driven by Trails in the Sky the 1st

Nihon Falcom announced its cumulative third-quarter results for the fiscal year ending September 2026, with revenue up 111.3% year-on-year to 2.203 billion yen and operating profit soaring 485.2% to 1.258 billion yen, achieving substantial growth in both revenue and profit. Domestic and international sales of the latest series entry, Trails in the Sky the 1st, boosted both the product and licensing segments, with licensing revenue climbing 121.0% to 1.909 billion yen. The full-year earnings forecast remains unchanged, projecting revenue of 3.6 billion yen and operating profit of 2.2 billion yen. The new title Tokyo Xanadu is set for release in July, with a simultaneous global launch of Trails in the Sky the 2nd planned for September.
