Guancheng New Materials posts first-half loss of 42.7389 million yuan, swinging to a loss year-on-year
Guancheng New Materials disclosed its semi-annual report on August 27. In the first half of 2026, the company achieved operating revenue of 4.733 billion yuan, up 4.3 percent year-on-year, but net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was negative 42.7389 million yuan, compared with a profit of 19.5669 million yuan in the same period last year, swinging from profit to loss year-on-year. During the reporting period, the result was mainly affected by a combination of factors: rising copper prices for raw materials in the magnet wire business pushed up the unit selling price of magnet wire and increased magnet wire settlement revenue, while the settled area of the real estate business decreased compared with the same period last year, causing settlement revenue to decline accordingly.
