Takuma Co., Ltd. designs, constructs, and supervises boilers, plant machinery, pollution prevention and environmental equipment, heating and cooling systems, and water supply and drainage sanitation facilities in Japan. It builds waste treatment and sewage plants for local governments, operates a power retail business, and provides after-sales services such as plant maintenance, operation management, and O&M. The company also constructs and maintains biomass power plants and energy-from-waste plants, and manufactures general-purpose boilers, vacuum-type hot water heaters, and clean equipment and washing systems for the semiconductor industry. Formerly Takuma Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Takuma Co., Ltd. in 1972, was incorporated in 1938, and is headquartered in Amagasaki, Japan.
