A-share three major indices fluctuate higher, multiple AI application stocks hit daily limit
On August 28, the three major A-share indices fluctuated higher. As of press time, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.15%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.45%, the ChiNext Index rose 0.91%, and the STAR Composite Index rose 1.16%. AI application stocks moved higher, with Digiwin Software hitting the 20% daily limit, and 360 Security Technology, China Security, Jiuqi Software, and Topsec all hitting their daily limits. On the news front, overnight US enterprise software giant Salesforce surged more than 21%, with annual recurring revenue from its core AI products Agentforce and Data 360 totaling close to 3.9 billion US dollars, up more than 210% year on year. In addition, Salesforce announced an expanded strategic partnership with US AI giant Anthropic, launching Claudeforce to deeply integrate Claude's reasoning capabilities with Salesforce's enterprise data, workflows, and governance systems, easing market concerns that AI will destroy software companies.
