Taiwan AI Island at InfoComm 2026 showcases shift to software-defined Pro AV
At InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion themed to Taiwan AI Island drew over 30,000 visitors across three days, highlighting Taiwan's evolution from hardware manufacturing to software-defined infrastructure for the Pro AV market. Eleven Taiwanese innovators demonstrated AI-powered solutions spanning edge AI, AI-enhanced collaboration, and AV-over-IP control, with a standing-room-only product launch event on June 17 featuring ARBOR Technology, AVer Information, Cypress Technology, Datavideo, and IPEVO. Interactive experiences included daily Boba & Breakthroughs networking mixers, an AI Island Quest completed by about 200 participants, and a timed Code Breaker Challenge awarding an IPEVO TOTEM 120 camera and an AVer GS-68C soundbar as daily prizes. Yolanda Pi, Director of the Taiwan Trade Center in Los Angeles, noted that demand has moved beyond experimentation toward active deployment, positioning Taiwan's companies to meet the full stack of Pro AV needs.
