Electric Wind Power posts net loss of 542 million yuan in first half of 2026

Electric Wind Power released its 2026 semi-annual report, achieving operating revenue of 5.654 billion yuan, up 112.27 percent year on year, but net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was a loss of 542 million yuan. Shanghai Electric Wind Power has established a wholly owned subsidiary, Shangdian (Dalian) Wind Power Equipment Co., Ltd., in Dalian. According to corporate registry app Qichacha, the company's business scope includes the manufacturing of generators and generator sets, sales and system research and development of offshore wind power equipment, and sales of wind farm-related equipment. Equity penetration information shows that the new company is wholly owned by Shanghai Electric Wind Power.

Shanghai Electric Wind Power is a STAR Market-listed subsidiary of Shanghai Electric Group, with over two decades of deep experience in the wind power industry. Its cumulative offshore wind installations have ranked first in China for 11 consecutive years, and in the first half of 2026 its market share of new offshore wind orders reached 52.27 percent. The company's international footprint has expanded to regions including Central and Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
