Shimamura shares fell to their lowest level in the past month. The closing price on August 20, 2026 was 3,290 yen, down nearly 8% from the late-July high of 3,571 yen. First-quarter revenue for the fiscal year ending February 2027 was 181.6 billion yen, up 7.9% year on year, while operating profit rose 16.8% to 17.8 billion yen, with profit growth outpacing revenue growth.
