Toho Gas begins basic design for e-methane production in the US, aiming for operation in FY2030
Toho Gas announced on the 28th that it has begun the basic design of a plant for a project to produce synthetic methane "e-methane" made from hydrogen and carbon dioxide in Nebraska, USA. The company aims to start operations in fiscal year 2030, and this design start is the first step. Although the detailed scale and investment amount of the project have not been disclosed, Toho Gas plans to strengthen its efforts toward a decarbonized society through overseas e-methane production.
