Haffner Energy welcomes Mundi Énergies as shareholder to accelerate Canadian multi-energy hubs

Haffner Energy has signed an agreement bringing Mundi Énergies and its partners into its share capital, marking the first time the company combines technology supply with a stake in renewable energy generation assets. An initial issue of new shares totaling €650,000 was completed today as the first drawdown under the initial two million-euro tranche of an equity investment facility that could reach up to €10 million, subject to a 23.07% dilution cap. The partnership, which evolved from a technology collaboration announced in December 2025, aims to roll out a network of around twenty multi-energy hubs across Quebec, with the first hub already launched in the Bécancour Industrial and Port Park through the jointly owned project company INCAD. Each hub has the potential to produce about 50 million litres of renewable diesel per year, and the first project is scheduled to come online in the second quarter of 2028. Haffner Energy will also receive a preferential right to a 20% equity stake in the project companies developing the energy infrastructure.
