CPS Technologies Corporation produces and sells advanced material solutions to transportation, automotive, energy, computing/internet, telecommunication, aerospace, defense, and oil and gas markets in the United States, Germany, the rest of Europe, Asia, and internationally. Its products include metal matrix composites such as baseplates for motor controllers in electric trains, subway cars, wind turbines, hybrid and electric vehicles, and high-voltage direct current transmission; hermetic packages for radar, satellite, and avionics; baseplates and housings for wide band gap semiconductor modules; and lids and heat spreaders for internet switches and routers. The company also assembles housings and packages for hybrid circuits and produces armor for naval and military applications under the HybridTech brand, selling to microelectronics systems companies. Formerly Ceramics Process Systems Corporation, it changed its name to CPS Technologies Corporation in March 2007, was incorporated in 1984, and is based in Norton, Massachusetts.
