Its austenitic and ferritic stainless-steel products are used in applications such as seat belts, spring coils, water tanks, construction, transportation, pipes, food manufacturing, boilers, heat exchangers, and the chemical industry, as well as in household appliances including kitchen units, sinks, and washing machines. The company was formerly known as Thainox Stainless Public Company Limited and changed its name to POSCO-Thainox Public Company Limited in 2011. Incorporated in 1990, it is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, and is a subsidiary of POSCO Holdings Inc.
