JMART goes on the offensive, building an ecosystem to drive profit growth

Jaymart Group announced a plan to drive second-half growth through a synergy ecosystem, with mobile phone lending as a key growth engine after the locked-phone portfolios of SGC and KB J Capital together surpassed 21 billion baht. In the first half, the group posted a net profit of 128 million baht, up 146 percent from the same period last year, and expects the second half to grow faster than the first, while targeting a new record high for full-year profit. Meanwhile, JMT has set a debt-purchase budget of about 2 billion baht this year and sees expected credit losses trending lower. SGC aims to extend at least 14 billion baht in new loans, while SINGER is preparing to launch new products and locked appliance financing in September. Sukishi Tinoi is accelerating branch expansion and building a new S-curve, and JAS ASSET is pushing hotel and wellness as an additional growth driver to support the group's second-half momentum. JMART has set a net profit target of 2 billion baht by 2028 under the JUMP+ programme.

JMART second-quarter profit surges 92% to 213 million baht

Jaymart Group Holdings Public Company Limited, or JMART, reported second-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders of 213 million baht, up 91.9% from the same period last year. This brought first-half net profit to 375.7 million baht, an increase of 49.5% from 251.3 million baht. The main drivers were the mobile phone and accessories distribution business, as well as higher profit sharing from joint ventures and associates, especially JK AMC, KB J, SINGER, and Suki Tee Noi. JMART recognised first-half profit sharing from Suki Tee Noi of 100.5 million baht on a proportionate basis. Meanwhile, the Lock Phone mobile credit portfolios from KB J and SG Finance+ together exceeded 21 billion baht. JMT posted first-half net profit of 486.2 million baht and announced an interim dividend of 0.27 baht per share, with the ex-dividend date set for 24 August 2026 and payment on 11 September 2026. JAS Asset's first-half net loss narrowed by 10.4% to 118.4 million baht, but excluding the impact of fair value adjustments on investment properties, it recorded normal operating profit of 77.2 million baht, up 50.8%.
