Legrand raises 2026 targets after record first-half sales growth

Legrand has raised its full-year 2026 targets following a first half that delivered record sales growth of 17% excluding currency effects and an adjusted operating margin of 20.8%. The company now expects 2026 sales growth excluding currency effects of between 16% and 19%, up from a prior range of 10% to 15%, with organic growth of 8% to 10% and growth through acquisitions of around 8%. First-half sales reached €5,400.3 million, driven by a 9.8% organic increase and a 6.9% contribution from acquisitions, while net profit attributable to the Group rose 11.2% to €698.2 million. Seven acquisitions have been completed since the start of the year, all in energy and digital transition markets, adding approximately €450 million in annual revenue. The datacenter business, which now accounts for 32% of Group revenue, posted organic growth above 30%.
