Scan Inter PCL

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has fined 18 individuals a total of 172.56 million baht for manipulating shares of Meta Corporation (META) between 2018 and 2020. Among them, nine are part of the same group that manipulated shares of Scan Inter (SCN) in 2018, including Chanon Wangtan, former CEO of AKS Corporation, and Nattapas Keschaimongkol, the largest shareholder of META, who currently holds 448 million shares, or 14.61%. Meanwhile, Seksan Krongpanich, deputy chief executive officer of P.S.P. Specialties (PSP), is also among those penalized. However, PSP clarified that this was a personal matter before its listing in 2023 and does not affect its business. META has posted losses for four consecutive years, totaling 1,005.41 million baht from 2022 to 2025, and has been placed under the SP (suspension) sign since August 17, 2026, due to delayed financial statements and a disclaimer of opinion from its auditor. As for SCN, it recorded losses in 2024 and 2025 totaling 588.51 million baht, but in the first half of 2026, it turned around to post a profit of 16.09 million baht.
