Latham Group Raises Full-Year Guidance After 14% Sales Jump in Q2

Latham Group reported second-quarter net sales of $197.5 million, a 14.4% increase year over year, and raised its full-year guidance for both revenue and adjusted EBITDA. Organic growth contributed 10.3% while the Freedom Pools acquisition added 4%. In-ground swimming pool revenue surged 22.5% to $96.3 million, driven by fiberglass pool demand, and the company expects fiberglass to account for about 80% of full-year in-ground pool sales. Adjusted EBITDA rose 11.9% to $44.6 million, though gross margin contracted 160 basis points to 35.5% due to $2.8 million in incremental ramp-up costs from a sudden demand surge. Full-year net sales are now projected at $600 million to $620 million, with adjusted EBITDA of $110 million to $120 million, up from the prior range. The company also highlighted double-digit sales growth in the Sand States and a 60% increase in consumer leads.
