Veracyte Rises on Upward Guidance Revision and Earnings Beat

Veracyte shares advanced sharply after the genomic diagnostics company reported a strong earnings beat and raised its full-year guidance, according to the Meridian Small Cap Growth Fund's second-quarter 2026 investor letter. The fund, managed by ArrowMark Partners, highlighted that Veracyte's performance was underpinned by continued double-digit volume growth in its Decipher prostate cancer test and improved Afirma thyroid test results following a workflow upgrade. Two upcoming launches—Prosigna in breast cancer and the TrueMRD platform in bladder cancer—along with a steady cadence of clinical data, reinforced confidence in a multi-year growth runway. Veracyte closed at $55.71 per share on July 29, 2026, with a market capitalization of $4.44 billion, and its shares gained 136.96% over the past 52 weeks.
