Processa Pharmaceuticals has acquired Vidya Therapeutics and concurrently secured approximately $200 million in a private placement to advance VT-7208, a next-generation BTK inhibitor, across multiple disease areas. The private placement was committed by a syndicate of leading healthcare institutional investors including Bain Capital Life Sciences, Janus Henderson Investors, and RA Capital Management. Proceeds are expected to fund operations into the second half of 2029 and through key clinical milestones, including top-line data from Phase 2 proof-of-concept studies for food allergy, chronic spontaneous urticaria, and relapsing multiple sclerosis. The acquisition brings Vidya's lead asset VT-7208 into Processa's pipeline, with Phase 2 studies in food allergy and chronic spontaneous urticaria expected to begin in the second half of 2026 and a relapsing multiple sclerosis study in the first half of 2027. Processa will host an investor webcast on July 29, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
