Priority Income Fund, Inc. เป็นกองทุนรวมแบบปิด (closed-end) ประเภทตราสารหนี้ ที่ก่อตั้งโดย Prospect Capital Management LLC และ Behringer Harvard Holdings, LLC กองทุนนี้บริหารโดย Priority Senior Secured Income Management, LLC และลงทุนในสินเชื่อที่มีหลักประกันระดับอาวุโส (senior secured loans) โดยเน้นที่รายได้ปัจจุบัน รวมถึงลงทุนในกลุ่มสินเชื่อที่มีหลักประกันระดับอาวุโสที่เรียกว่า collateralized loan obligations กองทุนลงทุนในบริษัทที่มีอันดับความน่าเชื่อถือของหนี้ต่ำกว่าระดับ investment grade เดิมทีรู้จักในชื่อ Priority Senior Secured Income Fund, Inc. และมีภูมิลำเนาทางกฎหมายในสหรัฐอเมริกา
