Daesang Corporation manufactures seasonings and food additives through its subsidiaries across Korea, Asia, the United States, Europe, Oceania, and Africa. It operates in two segments: Food and Material. The Food segment offers general food products such as bean pastes and seasonings, agro-fishery foods including vinegar and fish sauce, and fresh foods like kimchi, tofu, western food, deli, and frozen food. The Material segment provides food ingredients such as starch for food, paper, textile, and construction materials, as well as sweeteners for alcoholic drinks, beverages, confectionery, baking, and other industrial uses. The company also supplies bio-ingredients including flavor enhancers, amino acids, and microalgae-based products for food, dietary supplements, functional food, animal nutrition, pet food, and pharmaceuticals. It is involved in trade and real estate activities and exports bio-ingredient products to approximately 80 countries under the Miwon brand. Incorporated in 1956, Daesang Corporation is based in Seoul, South Korea.
