North Media A/S develops and operates platforms for transactions between businesses and consumers in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. Its offerings include NejTak+, which lets consumers receive selected advertisements and catalogues in their mailbox, printed package materials, and distribution of weekly newspapers, paper leaflets, and local newspapers to retail and e-commerce businesses. The company also provides rental housing portals such as BoligPortal, BostadsPortal, and Boligmanager for tenants, landlords, property developers, brokers, and others, along with MineTilbud, Dayli, and Publisher. In addition, it supplies services related to digital access systems for locked apartment buildings and private homes, home care, distributors, and property managers, and develops a digital tool for electricity grid balancing. Formerly known as Søndagsavisen A/S, it changed its name to North Media A/S in April 2010, was founded in 1965, and is headquartered in Søborg, Denmark.

Martin Frandsen Tobberup named CEO of BEAM operator

North Media has completed its acquisition of the BEAM software platform from Bodil Energy for DKK 9 million, and Martin Frandsen Tobberup will become Chief Executive Officer of the company operating BEAM effective 1 September 2026. North Media Q2 2026 results hit by expected volume decline

North Media reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of DKK 314.3 million, down from DKK 342.3 million a year earlier, as an expected volume decline in its distribution businesses weighed on results. EBITDA fell to DKK 27.1 million from DKK 48.4 million, and EBIT dropped to DKK 12.9 million from DKK 32.4 million, with the EBIT margin narrowing to 4.1% from 9.5%. Last Mile revenue declined to DKK 272 million from DKK 300 million, while Digital Services revenue was flat at DKK 42 million. The company now expects full-year 2026 revenue of DKK 1,258-1,294 million, EBITDA of DKK 122-142 million, and EBIT of DKK 64-84 million, including DKK 2 million in one-off costs related to an IT security incident at SDR.

Martin Frandsen Tobberup to be appointed interim CEO of BoligPortal

North Media's Group Executive Director Martin Frandsen Tobberup will be appointed interim CEO of BoligPortal, the largest subsidiary in the Digital Services business area, effective 4 August 2026. He takes over following the resignation of current CEO Anders Hyldborg, who leaves after eleven years with the company, nine as CEO. Tobberup will continue in his role as Group Executive Director and CDO of North Media. BoligPortal's Board of Directors has initiated the recruitment process for a new CEO.

North Media cuts 2026 guidance after Q2 revenue falls 8%

North Media has revised its full-year 2026 financial guidance downward after preliminary second-quarter revenue fell 8% year-on-year to DKK 314 million. EBITDA dropped to DKK 27 million from DKK 48 million, while operating profit declined to DKK 13 million from DKK 32 million. The company now expects full-year revenue of DKK 1,248-1,285 million, EBITDA of DKK 122-142 million, and EBIT of DKK 64-84 million, down from previous guidance of DKK 1,267-1,320 million, DKK 133-161 million, and DKK 75-103 million respectively. The revision reflects slower implementation of new products in Last Mile, reduced market trends in Digital Services, the IT security incident in SDR, and several one-off costs, including DKK 2 million recognized for the second half of 2026. A minor acquisition of the BEAM software platform for grid balancing, expected to close on 1 September 2026, will reduce EBIT by about DKK 5 million.
