Formerly Sampo Electrical Appliances Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Sampo Corporation in 1974 and was founded in 1936, based in Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

Sampo plc repurchased 968,363 own shares during week 29

Sampo plc acquired 968,363 of its own A shares during the week of 13 July to 17 July 2026 at a volume-weighted average price of 9.53 euros per share. The buybacks were executed across multiple trading venues, with the largest volumes on XHEL at 459,999 shares and CEUX at 419,634 shares. The repurchases are part of a share buyback programme of up to a maximum of 350 million euros announced on 6 May 2026 and launched on 7 May 2026, based on authorization from the Annual General Meeting on 22 April 2026. Following the transactions, Sampo holds a total of 17,103,871 A shares, representing 0.64 percent of the total number of shares in the company.
