United Urban Investment Corporation was established on November 4, 2003 under the Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations (Act No. 198 of 1951, as amended) and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Real Estate Investment Trust Securities Market (J-REIT Market) on December 22, 2003 (stock code 8960). It defines real estate that can ensure stable profitability over the medium to long term as having "intrinsic value" and, as a diversified J-REIT, aims for a diversified portfolio without limiting use or investment area. On December 1, 2010, it merged with Nippon Commercial Investment Corporation (NCI) as the surviving corporation. The Investment Corporation has made cash distributions every fiscal period from the 1st (ended May 2004) to the 41st (ending May 2024), and in the 42nd fiscal period (ending November 2024) it made cash distributions of 3,937 yen per unit.
