China Baowu Showcases AI 2.0 Strategy: Humanoid Robots, Industrial Vision Factory Among Highlights

China Baowu presented a comprehensive display of its AI 2.0 strategy achievements during the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Baoshan Iron and Steel and Baosight Software jointly exhibited the fully domestically developed and independently controllable Tianxing PLC series, the Turing heavy-duty wheeled dual-arm humanoid robot with each arm capable of carrying 15 kilograms and a grasping accuracy of plus or minus 0.5 millimeters, and the officially launched Zhijian Factory xVue, an industrial AI vision factory. Baoshan Iron and Steel has cumulatively built and put into operation over 700 AI scenarios and more than 100 intelligent agents, created five benchmark AI production lines, and its four major bases have been recognized as Excellent Smart Factories by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In addition, under the guidance of the China Iron and Steel Association, Baosight Software and Baoshan Iron and Steel jointly compiled the industry's first systematic AI transformation methodology covering the entire steel value chain, the AI plus Steel White Paper: Redefining Steel with AI 2026, which was also released during the same period.
