And Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited, or BAM, held an analyst meeting to outline its second-half 2026 business picture, advancing a resilient business model, reducing reliance on big-ticket items, accelerating TDRs, and revolving NPA assets, while setting up three more joint-venture AMCs, with the first expected to be finalized as early as the end of the third quarter of 2026. It aims for its total asset portfolio to surpass 600 billion baht by year-end under the BAM Universe approach, according to CEO Dr. Raks Worakitphokathorn.

CHAO Expands into China's Snack Market, Debuts Products at Top Thai Brands Xiamen 2026
Chao Sua Foods Industry Public Company Limited, or CHAO, brought its Modern Thai Snack and Better-For-You product groups to Top Thai Brands Xiamen 2026 to expand its partner base and build awareness of the "Chao Sua" brand in the Chinese market. Chief Executive Officer Naphat Morin stated that the behavior of younger Chinese consumers has elevated snacks into a "fourth meal" of the day, driving up demand for health and nutrition products. The items displayed included crispy rice, mini rice crackers, pork sticks, fish sticks, and cereal crackers. Data from the Office of Commercial Affairs in Xiamen under the Department of International Trade Promotion indicates that China's snack market is on track to grow to 1.18 trillion yuan, or roughly 5.9 trillion baht, in 2025, with younger consumers aged 26 to 36 forming the key purchasing force. Top Thai Brands Xiamen 2026 is organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce alongside the 26th International Fair for Trade and Investment, or CIFIT 2026. CHAO is one of 35 Thai operators selected to take part, and the company expects that business matching activities, Thai cooking demonstrations, and marketing through Chinese KOL and KOC networks will help create opportunities to enter modern retail channels in China, especially in the second half of 2026.
CHAO accelerates second half, launches new products to tap health trend
Chao Sua Foods Industry Public Company Limited, or CHAO, announced its business plan for the second half of 2026, aiming to expand both domestic and international markets by joining forces with major retail partners to push aggressively into the Chinese market, with completion expected within 2026. The company also plans to expand its Better-for-you product portfolio in response to health trends and to grow online channels across all platforms as a new revenue source. For second-quarter 2026 results, the company reported total revenue of 308.4 million baht, up 5.2 percent from the previous quarter, but posted a net loss of 7.2 million baht due to higher raw material, energy, and transportation costs, as well as lower overseas sales. As a result, for the first six months of 2026, total revenue was 601.7 million baht, down 9.3 percent from a year earlier, while net profit was 10.4 million baht, down 22 percent from the previous year.
