BitFuFu Q2 2026: Self-Mining Production Triples, Net Loss Widens

BitFuFu reported second-quarter 2026 results showing self-mining hashrate grew 9.3% quarter-over-quarter to 3.5 EH/s, with monthly production nearly tripling from 32 to 90 Bitcoin, while hosting revenue surged 254% year-over-year. However, total revenue and cloud mining revenue declined sharply year-over-year due to lower Bitcoin prices and reduced customer demand, with cloud mining net dollar retention rate falling to 24.1%. The company posted a net loss of $20.5 million, including $16.9 million in fair value losses on Bitcoin holdings and digital asset receivables and payables. Total cash and digital assets decreased from $177.1 million at year-end to $119.5 million, partly due to Bitcoin price depreciation and prepayments. BitFuFu repaid $10 million in Bitcoin-backed loans, reduced pledged Bitcoin from 357 to 54, and authorized a $5 million share repurchase program.
