UAC Targets 15% Annual Revenue Growth, EBITDA Margin Above 20%

UAC has set a target for average annual revenue growth of 15%, while maintaining an EBITDA margin above 20%. The company aims to expand its circular economy and green chemicals businesses through its innovation unit, UAC SYNOVA, which is expected to reach commercial viability within three years. Meanwhile, the petroleum business is expected to sustain high margins in the second half of the year, and the trading business is beginning to recover in the third quarter of 2026. The company aims to adjust its revenue mix from the current 65% trading and 35% energy (including petroleum) to a 50:50 split within three to five years, to reduce reliance on refinery and petrochemical groups. UAC sells UAPC shares for 62.5 million baht, rebalances portfolio toward high-growth businesses

UAC Global (UAC) announced the sale of all its ordinary shares in its subsidiary, UAC Advanced Polymer and Chemicals (UAPC), to ICAP-SIRA ASIA PTE. LTD., the major shareholder of UAPC, under the Call Option conditions of the Investment Agreement. As a result, UAPC will cease to be an associated company from September 1, 2026. This transaction provides UAC with 62.5 million baht in cash to enhance liquidity and strengthen its capacity to invest in sustainably growing businesses. Although the company will recognize an accounting loss from the chemical business, which faces an economic slowdown and intense competition, the board believes this decision is in the best long-term interest of the company and its shareholders.

UAC Q2 profit surges 30.77% on petroleum segment

UAC Global reported second-quarter profit attributable to shareholders of 33.97 million baht, up 30.77% from a year earlier, with EBITDA of 98.76 million baht, up 33.95%, driven by the manufacturing-petroleum business, whose first-half revenue rose 78.93% on well improvements, beam pump installation and higher global crude oil prices. Although total first-half revenue fell 26.68% to 694.87 million baht as the trading segment slowed, the company posted gross profit of 227.89 million baht and EBITDA of 180.73 million baht, with cash of 391.58 million baht and a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.81 times, below its ceiling of 2 times. First-half finance costs fell 44.15% to 13.16 million baht after repaying debentures last year.
