Vitasoy annual profit rises 17% on Shanghai disposal gain

Vitasoy International Holdings reported a 17% increase in profit attributable to equity shareholders to HK$274 million for the year ended 31 March 2026, driven by a gain from the disposal of land and buildings held by Vitasoy (Shanghai) Company Limited. Revenue declined 3% to HK$6,061 million, mainly due to weaker performance in the Chinese Mainland where general trade channel softness was partially offset by growth in Omni channels. Profit from operations rose 18% to HK$430 million, boosted by the Shanghai disposal gain and cost rationalisation, though partially offset by lower gross profit and an impairment charge at Vitasoy Australia Products. Excluding the disposal and impairment, profit from operations increased 4%. The board proposed a final dividend of HK$13.5 cents per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to HK$17.5 cents per share.
